Duplex Steel F51 also known as UNS S31803 or 1.4462 is a fine grained duplex stainless steel with unique properties that makes it suitable for manufacturing of bars and shafts. This alloy contains an optimal combination of austenite and ferrite phases that provides resistance against general corrosion, pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion, strength and toughness making it suitable for applications within marine, chemical processing and oil and gas industries.
